Start boxing for the first time or in a long time.
Anyone can do it!

No matter if you have been involved with boxing before, another martial art, or are starting for the very first time Method Boxing has the facility and staff to start you on your boxing journey.  

Don't be concerned about your fitness level, anyone can start boxing at any fitness level or age.

Do not be concerned that you are not in shape because the whole point of boxing is to GET in shape. 

We have been developing our program for over a decade using all the latest science on motor learning and physical fitness. We take a rational approach to easing people with lower fitness levels into the program. Our goal is to make every class challenging, but not overdo it and leave you so sore you don't want to come back the next time!  

What to expect at your first class- You will be guided by instructors in a series of simple drills that teach the movements of boxing. Each drill is designed to help you build up your understanding of the movements of boxing. The first 15 minutes of every class is exclusively these drills in the same order every time.  This will be followed by a presentation by the instructor of the concept we are focusing on for the class. The goals and objectives of each class are explained clearly so that the students understand what to place their attention on. This is critically important for the students to get the most benefit from every class. 

The next part of class will be practicing the skill we are working on and the remainder of class time will be used for physical conditioning purposes. Every student has their own punching bag and works at a pace that makes sense for their current abilities. The instructors will prompt students as necessary throughout the session; however, prompting is done in a manner that benefits the student the most at THEIR current skill level.
